Legal Services Statement
Temple & Green Limited is a limited company and is not a traditional Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)-regulated law firm. Following regulatory developments announced in 2019, qualified solicitors are permitted to deliver legal services while practising within businesses that are not regulated law firms, provided they remain individually authorised and regulated.
Our in-house and consultant solicitors are individually authorised and regulated by the SRA and provide professional legal advice within the scope of unreserved legal activities.
Why is this important
Temple and Green Limited prides itself on providing practical, commercially focused legal support that meets the real-world needs of businesses and individuals. Our work is strictly limited to unreserved legal activities and regulated immigration advice provided under the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA). Unlike traditional law firms, which are SRA-regulated entities authorised to conduct reserved legal activities, Temple & Green Limited does not carry out reserved legal work. Reserved activities include:
· Conducting litigation or representing the Client in court or tribunal proceedings;
· Preparing or lodging instruments relating to the transfer or charge of land (conveyancing).
· Preparing or lodging probate applications;
· Administering oaths or performing notarial acts;
· Any other activity that requires authorisation or regulation by the SRA or another approved legal regulator.
Where a matter requires reserved legal service, we will guide clients appropriately and, where suitable, refer or work alongside authorised external legal professionals.
